She discusses your situation and can get you in within 1-7 days for the initial comprehensive Rheumatology consultation. Once you are an established patient, she offers advice and guidance via secure messaging or call. Follow up visits are available in person or via video, ranging from same day to within 1-5 business days, depending on your needs.

As a board-certified Rheumatologist, Dr. Ziegenbein trained to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with pain due to various rheumatic inflammatory or non-inflammatory conditions. Additionally, she had undergone training in diagnosis and treatment of systemic lupus at Johns Hopkins Hospital. During her 17 year experience as a Rheumatologist, she had pursued additional skills and knowledge in chronic pain management through several reputable institutions.

Care Coordination
Dr. Ziegenbein will review your labs and records from your other health providers and communicate with them about your medical care after the initial appointment and in between visits as needed. The goal is to have everyone involved in your care informed and on the same page.
Transparent Fees
MEDICARE PATIENTS
Dr. Ziegenbein bills Medicare Part B for covered medical services.
Medicare patients participate in a concierge support program and are responsible for applicable concierge fees in addition to standard Medicare billing. Concierge membership fees are not covered by Medicare or supplemental insurance.
The concierge program allows Dr. Ziegenbein to provide longer visits, personalized care coordination, direct communication, review of outside records, and ongoing support between appointments.

PATIENTS WITHOUT MEDICARE
f you do not have Medicare Part B, Dr. Ziegenbein accepts direct payment for her services.
The initial consultation fee covers your first and second visits, which typically occur within 2-3 weeks of each other. Following each visit, you will receive an itemized receipt ("superbill") that may be submitted to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Patients who choose to continue working with Dr. Ziegenbein after the initial consultation may select from several membership options designed to provide varying levels of support and access.
